Your calendar will be automatically filled with course dates, session dates, and due dates. Plus, anybody can create a custom event! Here's how:
- Click anywhere on your calendar to create an event. If you've used a calendar app before, you'll see some familiar fields: title, start and end time, and location (optional).
- Use the "Calendar" dropdown to connect events to a specific course, or keep it in your personal calendar. You can also invite students. They'll automatically receive an email invite to the event.
- Add an optional description for your event. Use the repeat section to customize how often your event repeats, if necessary.
- Lastly, if you're meeting someone online, there's a place for you to add a video call URL. This URL will be attached to the event for all members.
- In the iCal app, go to File > New Calendar Subscription
- Paste in the URL you copied from the Kannu calendar
- On the left-hand nav, click the arrow to the right of "Other Calendars," and select "Add from URL"
- Paste in the URL you copied from the Kannu calendar
- Click "Add Calendar"
- Note that Google only updates imported calendars once a day. That means that any new event in your Kannu calendar could take up to 24 hours to show up in Google Calendar.
